As for customer reviews, the Schwinn Free runner had a total of 44 customer reviews with 32 rating it 4 to 5 stars, with 5 being the max. While the Jeep Overland Stroller had a total of 103 reviews with 69 rating it 4 or 5 stars. In the end, the Schwinn Free Runner did come out with a higher customer satisfaction rating. The main complaint for both was the fact that they have a fixed front wheel. Apparently, several people purchased these running strollers not realizing that the front wheel does NOT swivel, then they gave it a poor rating, which is unfortunate.

  • The Jeep Overland Stroller may weigh 2 pounds more than the Schwinn Free Runner, but just look at all you get for that extra 2 pounds. For instance, an MP3 speaker so that you and your little one can listen to some tunes. It also comes with a built-in pedometer giving you the ability to track your speed and distance. Not to mention the extra storage, and child snack tray.

Let me make this extremely clear. The Jeep Overland Stroller is not a BOB! It’s not a Baby Jogger! It is a running stroller designed to offer everything you need, with a little extra for fun, and it’s meant to be affordable. I personally like this stroller, very much. I think it’s well designed, and well worth the price tag.

  • Quite a few people complained about the Jeep Overland Stroller being too heavy, and too hard to push and run behind…..most running strollers are hard to push and run behind. It only weighs 26.4 pounds, which is actually pretty lightweight. The reason it’s hard to push is because it doesn’t have sealed ball bearings, or an aircraft grade aluminum frame. If it did, it would cost a whole lot more. So, deal with it, or get yourself a BOB and spend $200 dollars more.
