  • Our Baby Crib With Ocean Wonders Nursery Bedding Custom Ocean Wonders Wall Letters, Bubbles Lamp, Turtle Nightlight Sea Green Glider With SWIM Pillow: This is my husband and I first baby and we wanted to go all out with an Ocean Wonders nursery theme. I worked as a dolphin trainer for many years and

I work as a dolphin trainer and both my husband and I have a huge passion for the ocean, so that is where we got our inspiration for our ocean wonders baby girls nursery!

We used all Disney colors from Lowes to paint her room, her primary colors were two shades of blue, green and purple.

My husband works as a contractor and designed custom paneling. The dark blue is actually wood that has been cut, sanded and painted, the white panels were cut, sanded and painted and the crown molding that goes around the middle of the room and separates the two color blues was cut, sanded and painted white.

Her crib bedding is called by Fisher Price and has a purple whale. I used that whale as the main character for her room. I painted a huge purple whale above her changing table/dresser and a baby purple whale above her crib.

Our crib is called Taylor Lifetime crib, our changing table/dresser is called Taylor combo dresser and the glider and ottoman is made by Dutailier. We bought everything at Babies r Us.

Here is a list of all the stuff in the nursery and where we bought it:
The inside of her closet is painted green and matches the ceiling and contains her whale bath tub bought at Babies R Us and shelving. On her changing table is a green and blue basket we use as her diaper caddy. Inside her dresser on the first drawer is another blue and green basket that holds all of her socks. We use a big round tin that matches colors of her room to hold her books and sits next to the glider. Diaper stacker that hands next to the changing table and above diaper genie holds the diapers. Her clothes are all folded and in her dresser drawers.

The ocean Wonders baby nursery was extremely fun to put together and we enjoyed every minute of it. My husband's favorite part was designing the paneling around the room. My favorite part was all the small details that really just added to the room overall, from her custom made ocean wonders lettering to the custom made ocean wonders diapers wipe case and light switch.

The custom paneling that my husband did was difficult and took 2 weeks to do working on it everyday after work. The purple whale that I painted above her crib and changing table was fun, but also very difficult as I had to first design it to match as closely as possible to the purple whale on her ocean wonders bedding, then draw it on the wall and then paint it. Overall the nursery took us two months to complete.

I love how the nursery is so bright. Between her busy and the bright colors, the nursery is very stimulating for Savannah which is what we wanted. I also love that the nursery was not just fun to create, but is very fun to be in. I love spending time in there and Savannah's nursery is the best room in the entire house!
