Samsung gave users in Italy, UK, and United States the Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 (excluding the 10.1v version) and the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, at various points in August 2012.

I find with my arthritis that the lightness of the device is a definite plus. I've already tried out the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 at Best Buy, and honestly can't tell the difference between it's resolution and my current Nook Tablet. The fact that it has free in-store support is another plus for me, so I'm looking forward to buying the one I have on reserve asap.

The specs on any device are important, especially internal storage. I was thinking about upgrading to this new nook device. However, it lacks enough memory with only 8GB of storage space. I have owned all previous Nook Devices with the exception of the Nook HD and HD+. However, I have a 16 GB Nook device with 8 GB of data saved on it. Therefore, this New Samsung Galaxy Tab Nook would not be an upgrade. The new Samsung Galaxy Tab Nook has all the wonderful bells and whistle, but it lacks crucial internal memory. This is an unrealistic option for someone with an all Nook Library over 8 GB of data. Barnes & Noble please offer some devices with higher storage options and better quality in screen size.

There are talks that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 may be launching mid-2017 as the South Korean tech giant has already applied for certification before the FCC and fans expect the device to sport some revolutionary specs and features. Samsung has however remained tight-lipped on the device’s release date and price.
